Okay, it’s 5am and I can’t sleep, so I guess it’s time to open my mind to you, my pretty little test subjects.

So a few things have been crossing my head while I stared at the wall.

• Why haven’t aliens contacted us yet? If they have, why haven’t we picked up on it? Considering how massive our existence is, I deem it near impossible not to share the universe with some other advanced form of life.
• Is life just a freak accident of nature? What if the universe was meant to be lifeless, is our existence merely a parasitic one? Think about it, we drain the Earth’s resources, and we don’t try hard enough to help the Earth recoup the losses. Are we viral or are we vital?
• I am firm in my non-belief in the Old Testament. Why? Because I do not like to think of God as a jealous murderer. I prefer the New Testament, where he is portrayed as the essence of mercy, tolerance and faith.
• If people stopped being so damn greedy, we wouldn’t even need the government. I see no reason why people cannot govern themselves. Given the right tools and motivation, we can do anything. ANYTHING.
• I’m not hating or anything, but I seriously doubt in Obama’s abilities to run the U.S. In my opinion, McCain should have been president, he has more experience.
• My head hurts, where the hell is the Advil?!
• Sometimes, it’s better to give up for a while, and redouble your efforts the next chance you get. Call it a tactical retreat.
• Why are people so obsessed with looking young again? Wine tastes better with age, so I guess this doesn’t apply to some people. They’re probably like eggs.

Wow, I am quite bored.
