A break from reality. A shadow speaks.
Ah, life. Such a wonder it is to human eyes. More often than not, its conception is associated with beauty, with bliss, and with the hope of something new. Truth be told, beginnings are often the delirious escapism humans endorse upon themselves so as to distract themselves from the harsh pangs of reality, the pains of the earth and all the bitter seeds it sows along its way. Its lifespan is indeed fleeting, but its beauty and allure are all too tempting, leaving one desperately hopeless in its wake. But of course, beginnings are truly majestic. It offers the promise of a clean slate and is brimming with the endless possibilities that may be forged upon it. Beginnings truly are beautiful aren’t they?
Then again, not all beginnings will result in the beauty they were intended to be capable of. Not all those fairy tales in books have a happy ending. No, sometimes Fate decides to play little tricks and cause one beginning to turn ever so slightly, and in no intention will it be ending well for anyone. Oh no, this particular individual is being dressed up by Fate to on a grander scale. And when the world crumbles at his feet, Fate’s hollow laughter will fade away, searching for another place in which to toy with the infinite universe.
